A WORLD OF MY OWN - 09 APRIL 2020

Today’s urban sketching effort. I tried to capture light coming through windows at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. Posca markers, brush pens and water soluble pencil on brown A4

A vibrant park view from a gazebo with a checkered floor and overhead canopy. Trees line the walkpaths, creating a lively and picturesque scene.

TRAPPED MIND BY ME

Made with gel ink pen for a future art book about mediterranean way of life.

A quaint old building stands amidst lush greenery, with a cobblestone path leading to its entrance. Trees frame the scene under a partly cloudy sky.

A detailed pen-and-ink exploration of a modified auto-rickshaw turned into a mobile coffee stall. This design captures the charm of urban travel and the global love for street food culture, rendered in a raw, sketchbook style.

Watercolour pencils and gouache on A4. I did this today at a Urban Sketchers meet up in the National Museum of Scotland - although, I guess, strictly speaking it does not fulfil the urban sketching requirements :D
